Reach Destination without Driving
You can avoid driving all the way across LA by doing either of the following two things. The first way involves going into Race Editor mode, switching off Drive and Drop mode, then moving the pointer to the place you want to be. Switch Drive and Drop mode back on and exit Race Editor mode and you will be at the place you selected. The second way is to go into Arcade Mode and select a race that starts near where you want to be. Begin the race and exit it immediately and you will be at that spot.
Free Items (Without beating the game)

Step 2: Go to "exterior/interior".
Step 3: Go to WHAT TYPE of part you want NOT THE PART. A type of part would be:Spoilers,widebodies, headlights(this works with any of them I didn't want to name them all.
"Step 3: Do not click and find the part you want. If you want a spoiler HOVER OVER spoiler (so it's highlighted) and press X.
Step 4: hover over the part you want( make it so spoiler 2 of 4 is hilighted)
u can join from recent players or friends list.(If you want this to be easier go play an Xbox Live match and then do this step so you have a match to join.)This used to work with Performance upgrades but not anymore. So use this before it's patched.

Unlock Additional Cars
Win the indicated events to unlock the corresponding bonus cars in 'LA Career' mode.
Unlock 2004 Ford SVT Focus:Win 'Cool Breeze' series race.
Unlock 2004 Ford Cobra Concept:Win '10 Carat Beatdown' series race.
Unlock 1969 Chevrolet Camara RS SS:Win 'Bird On The Line' series race.
Unlock 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX:Win 'Beach Overlook' series race.
Cheat Mode
To be able to activate the following cheats at the 'Options' menu Collect the indicated number of hidden Rockstar barrels. Remember that when you activate the cheats your progress in Career mode will become disabled.
Unlimited Nitro:Collect 10 barrels.
Never Damage Out:Collect 20 barrels.
Unlimited Special Abilities:Collect 30 barrels.
Top Down View:Collect 40 barrels.
No Police:Collect 50 barrels.
No Fines:Collect 60 barrels.
Performance Upgrades
When you reach the indicated rank the corresponding Performance Upgrade will become available.
Unlock Level 1 Performance Upgrades for Group 1 Vehicles:Get the 'Navigator' rank (800 Reputation).
Unlock Level 1 Performance Upgrades for Group 2 Vehicles:Get the 'Driver' rank (5,600 Reputation).
Unlock Level 1 Performance Upgrades for Group 3 Vehicles:Get the 'Elite Racer' rank (13,700 Reputation).
Unlock Level 1 Performance Upgrades for Group 4 Vehicles:Get the 'Savant' rank (22,760 Reputation).
Unlock Level 2 Performance Upgrades for Group 1 Vehicles:Get the 'Rookie' rank (3,610 Reputation).
Unlock Level 2 Performance Upgrades for Group 2 Vehicles:Get the 'Veteran' rank (10,760 Reputation).
Unlock Level 2 Performance Upgrades for Group 3 Vehicles:Get the 'Legend' rank (19,540 Reputation).
Unlock Level 2 Performance Upgrades for Group 4 Vehicles:Get the 'Hero' rank (26,160 Reputation).
Unlock Hydraulics and Air Bags
These become available for your Gamertag when you join the Rockstar Social Club and complete four of the twelve 'Driving Test' achievements listed on the website. If you already have four of the achievments completed you will unlock hydraulics and air bags just by joining the Rockstar Social Club and linking your Gamertag.
